Peelings
Chemical Peels involve using acids to remove the keratinized (dead) cells from the surface of the skin. This causes a controlled injury that promotes healing, inflammation and resurfacing of a new and improved skin surface. This is an ideal treatment for skin conditions such as freckles, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, some types of melasma, active and scarring acne as well as fine wrinkles. The type, strength or combination of acids used will depend on the conditions to be treated, the type of skin being treated and the person’s skin type.
